1 case found in Kinngait, the other in Kugluktuk

Two more COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Nunavut, says Dr. Michael Patterson, the territory’s chief public health officer.
One case is in Kinngait, while the other is in Kugluktuk, bringing the territory’s total active cases to five.
“Both individuals are doing well and isolating,” Patterson said in a statement issued Tuesday.
Patterson also said he wanted to remind all Nunavummiut that masks are now mandatory across the territory.
The Nunavut government says anyone developing COVID-19 symptoms is advised to call the COVID hotline to arrange testing at 1-888-975-8601 between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST. If a person has symptoms, the government says to call the hotline and make an appointment for testing rather than walk into a health centre in person.
Vaccines are available across the territory for those 12 and up.
