Weakened trees and La Nina weather could lead to more outages - Energeticcity.ca

La Nina is predicted to bring cooler, wetter, and windier weather to this west coast for fall and winter. This weather, partnered with the drought-weakened trees, could results in the ‘perfect storm’ for outages.

Hydro is recommending customers prepare for what may be a challenging storm season by having a well-stocked emergency kit that includes flashlights, extra batteries, a first aid kit, non-perishable food, and water.
