Northern Health region adds 106 new cases Wednesday, more SD 60 COVID-19 exposures - Energeticcity.ca

Out of 16,277 cases since last spring, 15,410 have since recovered.

In the north, 527 vaccine doses were given since Tuesday, moving the total dose count to 391,328. Of those, 181,684 are second doses and 8,138 are other doses.

Provincial COVID-19 data

British Columbia added 555 cases on Wednesday, moving the active case count to 4,321.

There are 404 people in hospital, 117 of whom are in critical care.

There were 11 COVID-19 deaths in the province reported Wednesday, moving the provincial total to 2,234.

Of the 210,758 cases since last March, 203,909 have since recovered.

Another 14,942 vaccine doses were given, moving the total dose count to 8,361,935. Of those, 3,992,679 are second doses and 181,975 are other doses.

As of Wednesday, 90.5 per cent of eligible residents over 12 have a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 86.4 per cent have received both doses.

SD 60 COVID-19 exposure notices

Northern Health announced the following schools have exposure notifications for COVID-19:

  • Charlie Lake Elementary had an exposure notice sent out for November 2nd to 4th.
  • Ecole Central Elementary had a COVID-19 exposure on November 1st.
