Bouchard and More WTA Stars Arrive in Montreal - National Bank Open

The National Bank Open presented by Rogers gets underway on Friday and some of the WTA’s biggest stars have arrived at IGA Stadium to begin their preparations for the tournament.

Montreal’s own Eugenie Bouchard hit Centre Court on Thursday afternoon to practice with fellow Canadian Carol Zhao. The 29-year-old will be playing in her home city for the first time since 2018 and was all smiles as she returned to a venue that she grew up playing in.

Meanwhile, Caroline Wozniacki, Paula Badosa, Marie Bouzkova, Rebecca Marino, and defending Montreal champion Camila Giorgi are just a few of the names who have been spotted on the grounds.

The Draw Ceremony

The official draw ceremony will be on Friday and fans are invited to join us on the terrace of the Cathcart at 5:00 p.m. to be part of the festivities. Bianca Andreescu, Marino, and Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova will also be on hand to assist with the drawing of names to place on the board to determine the week’s matchups.
